In these selections, we are showing lessons that introduce the long-vowel e sound spelled ee, ea, and e; more compound and multiple-syllable words; accented or unaccented y; and the letter c pronounced |s| and the letter g pronounced either |j| or |zh|.

These selections show lessons that review the numerous sounds for the letter y; show the x spelling with several pronounciations; the ch spelling with three sounds; unpronounced (silent) letters; the |zh| sound spelled with several spellings; the ou spelling with various sounds; the |f| sound with several spellings; and two, three, four, five, and six syllable words.
